Why you can trust it

The quiet promisesthat hold everything else up.

Four things a neighbourhood marketplace cannot get wrong: knowing where something really is, keeping deals genuinely current, making sure money and purchases are always handled safely, and making sure people can be trusted. Here is how we hold up each one — in plain language, no jargon.

A deliberate choice

Nothing mysterious decides what you see.

When you search for something, a clear, explainable set of rules matches you to the right results — not an unpredictable algorithm. That means it is fast, and our team can always explain why you saw what you saw. We would only ever add something smarter where it genuinely serves you better.

Six things holding it up

Each one fixes a specific way deals and shopping apps usually let you down.

01

Location you can trust

Distance is measured for real, not guessed at.

  • Every shop, deal, service and community post is tied to a real place on the map.
  • That means what shows up near you is actually near you — not just somewhere in the same city.
  • If your neighbourhood is a little quiet, you can widen the search radius yourself in a couple of taps, instead of being stuck with an empty screen.
  • You can also set your area by hand instead of sharing your location. Everything keeps working either way.
02

Deals that are always current

An expired deal cannot survive the night.

  • Every deal has a clear time window, a live stock count, and a limit on how many times one person can use it.
  • Once a deal sells out, it is marked sold out immediately — no waiting for someone to notice.
  • Anything past its date is taken down automatically, every night, without anyone having to remember to do it.
  • What the shop sees and what you see always match, so there is never a mismatch at the counter.
03

Every purchase is protected

Built to work safely, even on a shaky connection.

  • Payments and redemptions are built so a dropped signal or an accidental double-tap can never count a redemption twice.
  • If two people try to act on the same thing at once, the system safely rejects the outdated one instead of letting both go through.
  • Confirming a redemption or updating your rewards balance happens safely, one at a time, so nothing gets double-counted.
  • If something goes wrong, you get a clear reference number to quote when you contact us — never a confusing error message.
04

Bad behaviour gets caught

Real enforcement, not just a report button.

  • One system watches for suspicious activity across shoppers, merchants, deals and posts alike.
  • A serious red flag can automatically pause an account and hold its payouts — whether it was caught automatically or reported by a person.
  • Every merchant, deal and service carries a public trust score built from real history — how long they have been around, community approval, verified reviews, and whether bookings are honoured.
  • Community posts are checked before they go live, and anything reported a few times is automatically sent for a closer look.
05

Your privacy is respected

Consent recorded, data kept only as long as needed, every action logged.

  • We record your consent and only keep your information for as long as we genuinely need it — not forever by default.
  • Our own team only has access to what their role actually requires, nothing more.
  • Every action taken on your account by our team is logged, so there is always a clear record of what happened and why.
  • You can download your data or delete your account yourself, right from the app, whenever you want — not an afterthought.
06

No mysterious "AI decides" moments

Clear rules, not a black box.

  • When you type what you need in plain language, a clear, explainable set of rules matches you to the right results — not an unpredictable algorithm.
  • That means faster answers, and a real person on our team can always explain why you saw what you saw.
  • Adding a new type of request to the system does not require reinventing anything — it is a small, deliberate change we make ourselves.
  • We would only ever introduce smarter matching where it genuinely serves you better than clear rules do — never for its own sake.

What that actually looks like

The trust score, shown rather than just described.

Every merchant, deal and service carries a public trust score built from real history — how long they have been around, community approval, verified reviews, and whether bookings are honoured. Here is the shape of it — an illustrative example, not a real merchant's data, since none exists yet.

4.7trust score / 5
  • Time on the platform82%
  • Community approval91%
  • Verified reviews76%
  • Bookings honoured96%

Illustrative example, not a real merchant — this is what the mechanic looks like, built from the same four factors named above, not a claim about any specific score.
